Met up with my friend to collect some stuffs from her at Junction 8, Bishan. She recommended Lao Yu Bean Sprouts Chicken stall which located at basement 1 of the shopping mall. The place is full house with people dinning in and queuing for orders. It is self-service basis. Customers queued to order and the staff in operation will to find place to sit for the customers. All orders and payment were made at the counter. The cashier will provide the number card so that the staffs can served the foods.

I ordered Yong Tau Foo Hor Fun (Dry) @S$5.90. It comes with soup and the special chilli and minced ginger. Hor Fun noodles are served thin and slippery which is smooth to consume. Together with the yong tau foo serving, it is quite filling. I am not impressed with the yong tau foo quality though. The tofu is kinda dry and can't really taste the fish paste. The fishball and meatball size are big but the texture is so-so only.

Overall rating for the food is good with the offer price. The price is quite reasonable. Staff is polite to the customers and they are committed to their work. One of the staff spoke politely to us saying that they need to fill up the seat that we placed our bag for another batch of customer. We are fine with it and she offered us a chair to place our bag at another side instead. I think the staff is doing her job well.
