Usually in old airport road, I will go for foods that are recommended by celebrities or had appeared on news or television (somehow all these articles pasted on the store acted like a ‘quality assurance’ to me). But today I tried something new, the Kheng Hai Hui stemed chicken rice! Nothing really attracts me at the store; I just joined the (short) queue. Honestly speaking, the overall taste, appearance and aroma were so-so. But I guess what cause the queue was the price; $2.50 to fill your stom

serving presentation is not great. the taste is not fantastic either. chicken king (wang lao wu) still has the best chicken rice. the rice here is very greasy and the chicken is not very tasty either. very oily and the place didn't look very clean. service is fast but can be grumpy depending on the owner's mood. their vegetables are sometimes very holey. rice was very oily. don't remember exact price - $2 to $3 which i find is not worth it as it didn't taste good

The vegetables here are not as good as the one from the duck rice stall next door. The vegetable here is very super oily with at least 2 different oils poured on. The vegetables are also not washed properly and not separated like at the duck rice stall. It's also quite limp. The deep fried garlic is a bit overpowering. I would prefer the duck rice stall's vegetable but for some reason we got the wrong stall and got this one instead. Both stalls cost the same.

Had the oyster sauce vegetables here. $3 a plate. It looks like a generous portion but the vegetables are super oily. I used 3 tissues to soak up the oil dripping from my chip as I was eating it as carefully as possible. Also, the vegetables have a chemical smell which means they didn't wash the vegetables before cooking! Great. Eating pesticides and fertilisers with the oil on the vegetables. Had their chicken rice before but it wasn't good either. Very oily. Is oil free at the hawker centre? E

Feels sick after eating anything here...
