Hanging out with my ex-colleagues last Saturday, we aimed to hunt great food all around the places. Satay, a stick of delicious skewers of spice-marinated meat, which is really popular in Singapore. We ordered two kinds of meat to share, which came along with a generous bowl of peanut sauce, cucumber and onions. I personally like the smoky charcoal aroma of the satay. Costed $6.00 per plate of 10 sticks satay with combination of chicken and mutton.

the satay here is good but not the best in this hawker centre. there are quite a few hawkers selling satay here. the service here is friendly and fast enough but when it gets busy it is very slow. they also sell muah chee at this stall. the chicken satay is great - nice and tender. i love mutton satay and not every stall in this hawker sells mutton satay. they mutton satay at this stall is very good - sweet and tender. good thing not much of the satay is burnt as burnt satay tastes bitter. the s

the satay is nicely burnt, crispy from the outer part yet the meat remain juicy with a not-too-over layer of fats which boos the fragrance and the taste of the satay. Yummy! Dip the satay with their sauce, it makes the perfect combination. Also, i will finish the onions and the cucumber served as well. Only downside is the environment, too smoky and limited places. sad

They used to make me wait a very long time for my satay but these days they are better at it and can make it faster. I love the mutton satay. The chicken satay is tender but nothing special. It's nice and lean. The mutton is also nice and lean and has a sweet taste which is great. No smelly mutton taste. The sauce is nice and looks homemade. Very generous with the sauce but rather stingy with the vegetables. Had some onions and cucumbers on the plate. $0.50 per satay. There's pork as well. Nasi

The rice cake to go with the satay is $0.50 for a small lump. Overall, it's alright. Not spicy at all and very moreish. Not overly burnt as well, which is great. I hate burnt meat. They also sell muah chee for $2!
