I never quite liked other fruit juices, after the horrible experience of having celery taste inside my juice when I didn't order that. This strawberry milkshake, on the other hand, is made with a blender, and has fresh strawberries, and UHT milk blended together into a smooth mix. The stall owner doesn't add any water to the blend, so it maintains it's full flavour and not diluted. However, it cost $2.50, which is a little more than the average price elsewhere.

Recommended to try!

My first Avocado milkshake!

I would consider myself as very adventurous when come to trying different type of foods and drinks. I clearly remember my first time trying out the stinky tofu in Taiwan, i fell in love with it and i went around looking for stinky tofu since then. I have never try an avocado milkshake in my entire life. What prompted me to try it was that Makansutra certificate displayed at their stall. I associated the taste of this avocado milkshake to the guacamole that i enjoyed. So, i thought to myself it should not taste too awful though i somehow remembered the nutmeg juice that i had in Penang. I spit it out after the first sip as i was not able to appreciate its taste.

When i was contemplating, the nice Uncle came over to my table and asked whether i want a drink. At that very moment, i made up my mind to try the avocado milkshake at least once. A glass of avocado milkshake was served to my table in minutes. The color of the juice was frightening green.

After taken pictures for this review, i decided to drink it in one shot and that given me no chance to regret it. Surprisingly, it tasted much nicer than i thought. I enjoyed it, somewhat. Now, i am thinking i should go by Alexandra Village Food Centre to try the very one made by the stall that first started it.

Avocado milkshake is mixture of avocado, fresh milk and maybe evaporated milk blended together. It is no doubt a healthy drink.

If you have never try an avocado milkshake perhaps you should give it a go too. Recommended.
