Relatively easy to find Korean stall at foodcourt, local people has no more headache to satisfy their Korean Cuisine craving. The price range was started from $5.50, it depends the combination you pick. Choices was extensive, food was freshly cooked upon ordering.Unique pickled cabbage, it was normally served along with Ramen or in Soup. A very flexible accompaniment to whatever dish, I opted to have mine with a bowl of plain rice. Generally authentic in flavour, hearty and savory broth was perfectly delicious. A little bit spicy, the hot pot was a balanced mixture. For me, it was addictive enough to order another serving of Kimchi Soup. continue reading

I was at a loss on what to order and I decided to just order from the korean stall since it is quite near to where I was sitting. I ordered the tofu soup which comes with steamed rice and side dish of ikan bilis and kimchi. The set costs $5.90. I waited quite long for my dish and other customers who came after me got served first, so I thought that was quite a bad service since my order is just tofusoup and not the hotplate types which needs some time for cooking.Anyway, that aside, I thought the amount of ingredients given was reasonable. There are quite a lot of tofu in the soup, but I was quite disappointed that the tofu is egg tofu as I thought the normal plain tofu would suit the spicy soup better. There is also an egg in the soup and two clams and some other ingredients which I forgot. Overall, I think it is just average fare. continue reading

Brought a set of the stir fried pork set meal for lunch. This set meal includes the Korea tradition side dish which is the kimchi and the sweet ikan bilis. As for the main dish which is the pork, it is well marinated with a slight sweet taste. The pork also has a soft and tender texture. On the bottom of the tepan dish, a layer of the sliced cabbage is placed to prevent the pork from being overcooked. Presentation wise is appealing with the addition of the sesame seed and sliced carrot. Overall, quite a tasty meal at a price of $5.90 and will definitely buy from this stall again. continue reading

I was a bit out of idea of what I would eat here. Hmm...maybe I would have the Korean food, since I was a little crazy about K-pop recently. (only a little ) Initially, I wanted the Kim Chi noodle but I decided against the idea since it didn't have any meat in it. I wanted something spicy, so I ordered the Ramien or Ramyun with chicken. I requested for extra spicy. It really looked spicy, right? So red. To my disappointment, it was not spicy at all, but I still like it anyway. continue reading

I ordered the spicy Korean chicken set from the Korean stall. The portion of the spicy chicken was rather reasonable, it was served on a fairly large hotplate. They were also rather generous with their side dishes as well. The spicy chicken was a little dry though, if they added a little bit more water or oil to cook it, I think it would taste better. The marinate they use on the chicken was so so, nothing spectacular. The chicken was sliced finely but it was kind of tough probably a little overcooked. For the soup, they served us seaweed soup. The soup was a little under seasoned but after eating the strong flavored spicy chicken, it tasted fine. I can also say the food here was so so. continue reading
