Yes, it looks oily. But let me tell you this, it tastes great! Not only does it taste good, the aroma is overwhelming as well. The kway teow is not too big or too hard and it is really good unlike others that are either too small or too big.The kway teow is the main ingredient rather than the normal "yellow" mee which I like it very much as i prefer kway teow over "yellow" mee. The fried carrot cake is quite nice. However, I would very much prefer if the egg could be more. The black soy sauce could be added more for color and taste. The fried carrot cake is not too hard but really soft so it makes it really easy to eat but however it's a little to the oily side. Thus, one have to drink lot of water with this dish. When asked to add chili, none was like added.
