Had lunch here on a weekday — ambience was relaxed and casual, with plenty of sunlight from the atrium. Menu was small, only two mains; we had the entrecôte steak with a good sauce and gluten-free fries, plus escargots baked with herbs. Meal came with salad and bread, and we dug in so fast we only remembered to snap photos for the beignets dessert. Service was excellent, with a friendly server making the experience pleasant and relaxing. Only downside was that the restaurant felt a bit warm, as the aircon didn’t seem very effective.Read More

Authentic Parisian vibes with great food and service. Highlights were the foie gras with onion jam, European asparagus, and the wagyu buffet. Don’t miss the salted caramel chocolate dessert, it was absolutely divine! Around $140 without wine, and well worth it.Read More

Had a wonderful French dining experience at L’Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro. The charming, cozy atmosphere gives off a classic Parisian vibe, perfect for a relaxing dinner.  The star of the night was definitely the steak: tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Paired with their signature sauce and crispy golden fries, every bite was satisfying. You can really taste the quality, and for the portion and flavor, it’s worth every dollar. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic French cuisine with a great ambiance.Read More

Complimentary rose wine Complimentary BreadHomemade Duck Foie Gras Terrine - $19A super big piece of duck foie gras was given, which made the presentation not so pleasant. Taste wise, I find it salty and too 'fishy' for my liking. We didnt finish it, and we noticed that the table beside us also didnt finish the foie gras.Entrecote Steak & Walnuts Green Salad - $29Additional legendary sauce/ walnuts green salad at $5.The green salad with the additional walnuts was a nice starter before we indulged ourselves in lotza meat! Oh yeah, the most appealing part of having dinner here to me is ~ both the fries and beef are refillable. Great news for big eaters huh? Taste wise, pretty mediocre and I dun quite understand what's so great about the "legendary" sauce that people actually need to top up $5 for additional sauce, while it's free to top up the beef. Doesn't sound logical to me. The beef itself came in 4 doneness - raw, medium raw, medium done & well done. Yes, there were dinners beside me who took the 'raw' option.. felt weird to me. Overall, it was a rather passable meal with little variety. Probably a better choice for those who merely just wan the quantity. *Shrugged*Visit http://fun-hideout.blogspot.sg for more review! ♥ ♥ ♥ Read More

Funny story. My friend and I went to Duxton Road to try out this restaurant recommended by a friend. But when we got there, it was already closed! With no plan B, we just walked and walked until we saw L'entrecote. Out of all the restaurants that night, this had the most diners -- so we guessed that the food must be good.Even with all the customers (mostly expats), we managed to get a table for 2. My friend ordered the entrecote steak drizzled with their secret sauce. It was served with salad and fries. I had the sardine in tin, which was served with bread, lemon, and salt. Then, we shared the food. The sardines was high quality without that lingering fishy taste. It was a great appetiser, especiallly when you top it on the bread, drizzle lemon juice, and add a bit of salt. As for the steak, I wasn't so impressed. In all honesty, Ive tried better ones. I prefer my steak to be fatty! Haha. Plus, I prefer the raw taste. The version I had was just swimming in the sauce, which tasted like the burger steak sauce at this fastfood chain in the PH. It wasn't bad.. but it wasn't impressive.... It was just OK.Read More
