As it is dinner time, most of the stalls at the coffee shop are busy, except for this one. Looking at the menu at the top of stall, I decide to order Twin mix for takeaway. It costs $4.50 but for takeaway it will costs an additional 20 cents more. For choice of noodle, I select mee sua. There is sliced fish, deep fried fish and fried fish roll in the dish. Quite a big serving that I cannot finish it. Overall tastes not bad. The uncle making the dish is quite friendly and even jokes with me.

There are many food stalls at the Yong Yun Yishun 81 coffee shop and i have tried most of the food. One of the food i have yet to try is the Long Ji XO Fish Head Bee Hoon stall. I decided to order the fried fish soup with rice. As usual, i order the fried fish soup with milk to give the soup a nice creamy taste. The fried fish was okay but the soup taste nice. The rice was cooked perfectly.

Another disappointing choice for lunch. The fish soup came with 4 pieces of average tasting fried fish together with veggies, slices of tomato and chinese dried seaweed. I tasted almost no taste of XO though they indicated it on their signboard. It was just a milky based soup that failed to impress. I ordered a bowl of white rice to go with the fish soup. Another bad choice. The texture of the white rice was unbearably hard. And to make it edible so as not to waste it, i got to pour in a large am

Another bad choice. The texture of the white rice was unbearably hard. And to make it edible so as not to waste it, i got to pour in a large amount of soup to soften the rice and let it soaked for a while before eating it.

I am definite that i will not return to this stall.
