water chestnut cake is normal because it's not their speciality. it feels like just pudding with bits of water chestnut. not something i would recommend.chendol was really awesome.i love their ice product. their ice is so soft that it really taste like snow! not something that one can miss when visiting their stores! walnut paste was normal as well. it was serve warm and not too much for my liking. i prefer it hot so when it was served, it was more to the room temperature.

haha , i will say if go to chinatown for hotpot, then you must try the desert here after your spicy hotpot. i do this every time. if eating at bugis, i will eat ah chew dessert, then chinatown is Mei heong yuen dessert. the steam milk and fruity blended ice is great. i hope there is one more option for us: selective fruit blended ice. for example, if we could select watermelon with green tea to top up on blended ice, would be even better~~~ and i have to say ,im a genius photographer~~~lol

The Service
The auntie who take down my orders is friendly with a smile and is courteous.

The Ambience
The shop place is quite small and tends to be squeezy when there are a lot of people but overall still not stuffy and well-ventilated

The Price
Reasonably priced at $5++

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!
