i happened to be at ION for a meeting and decided to get a portion of glutinous rice for afternoon snack. I left it for about 2 hours before eating it. The glutinous rice became rather hard, i did not manage to finish but decided to discard it after a few mouthfuls. Perhaps i shouldn't have left it for a good 2 hours before eating it? the glutinous rice was fried with itsy-bitsy pieces of mushroom and a little dried shallots with quite a few peanuts scattered on top.The taste wise, it tasted rather good. For that matter, i am willing to give it another try if i am here again.

The famous Mei Zhen has opened another outlet at Ion Orchard!My mum would regularly buy breakfast for me here as my family loved their Hakka Delights.Abacus Seeds: When I was young, I would look forward to eating abacus seeds, because I don't get to eat them all the time. I still look forward to eating it now. Those springy and chewy abacus seeds with fried onion and spring onion make a very hearty breakfast!Yam Porridge: Hardly eat this dish. I don't find it very appetizing as there's hardly any surprise from this bowl of porridge.
