Eating Peking duck has turned modern with a new snack concept. From a $60 dish in a restaurant to a $6 snack of 5 pieces of Peking duck wrapped in egg crepe. In each piece of egg crepe, there was a piece of cucumber and Peking duck topped with hoisin sauce.I could not taste the crispiness of the Peking duck but overall it was a nice and tasty snack. Although the egg crepe seems factory made with equal machine cut size, it texture was surprisingly soft and tasted nice with the Peking duck filling. continue reading

This stall is famous for the Peking duck wrap with crepe. Other than peking duck, they have have roasted pork and sucking pig as well ans what attract us was firstly, the huge suckling pig hanging on 1 side of thee stall. 2ndly, the long Q with uncles aunties and youngsters. . Crispy suckling pig skin with a thick layer of fats, wrapped with greens and suckling pig sauce. Rare find, delicacy in a shopping mall! continue reading

my girlfriend bought the peking duck from modern peking duck for me. it was made like those wedding banquet where the chef slice of some skin followed by meat then added a strip of cucumber and some sweet sauce and wrapped it in crepe. for $6, of course the standard could not match those from the wedding banquets, but it is the closest you can get already. i feel they can make more improvements, like the skin can be crispier and the portion may be bigger. continue reading

I was walking in Vivo quickly as I was in a hurry, however my feet just have to stop when I see this little Peking Duck shop. $6 for a pack of Peking duck wrapped in sweet crepe & sauce tat I always crave for?? No hassle of gathering a group & going into a restaurant? Not the need to order at least a half duck? At just $6? How can I not bring this home!It may not be of highest quality compare to the restaurant's, but it's good enough for the price & convenience I get, everything is up to a decent standard - the duck skin, the crepe, the sauce, the cucumber, in fact I LOVE the idea of making my lovely pekking duck so readily available~ continue reading
