I went for dinner with colleagues around 7pm and had their new dinner set. You get a four-couse dinner with quite abit of variety to choose from. For the staters, you get to pick from around 8 different dishes. I had the soft shell chilli crab. Great dish with the traditional chilli gravy of the tze char chilli crab. 8/10.

2nd dish ish a premium starter. At museo the starters are called "mezzanine" (no idea why) and this dish is under the "premium mezzanine" category. Something new for me. It was a tough choice between the wagyu beef and foie gras. I ended up having the foie gras as it has been awhile since i last had it. Perfectly seared outside and full of flavour and texture inside, it is a dish made in heaven! 9/10

For main course, i had the grilled korubuta pork rib. The meat had an excellent texture to it, nicely grilled with all the fat and sinful parts still intact. The sauce was a combination of pineapple and cinnamon making it a refreshing change over the usual apple. 8/10

For desserts, had a green tea brulee. Not too bad. Very unique dish as ive never tried a creme brulee with green tea infused before. 8/10

Overall another satisfactory experience!

Quayside Isle on Sentosa Island is fast becoming the chill out spot for the young and fabulous. Sunset dining in the plush and luxurious setting, with a magnificent view of the marina littered with beautiful yachts; it is easy to think that you are on holiday. I recently checked out MUSEO, the sister restaurant of Arteastiq Boutique Tea House.

The vantage point over the marina allows you to people watch from your comfortable sofa seats. I found them rather perfect for hanging out with friends.

A good way to sample the various dishes is to customize your own Mezzanine set which allows you a choice of 4 dishes for only $39. Ignoring the pretentious names which are rather irrelevant to the food, the quality is actually not bad. In fact, i thought these were better than the main courses.

My favorite was the Deep fried prawns flavored with lavender. Juicy tempura prawn drizzled with sweet lavender mayo. The texture of the mayo was a bit like the tze char style but it had a light lavender perfume to it. Very delicious. The crispy but tender Smoked Roast Pork Belly also has our votes. The pepper crusted Tuna Tataki was rather refreshing with a tangy vinaigrette. The Soft Shell Chilli Crab packed a punch with the tomato based chili sauce with a hint of sambal in it.

The baked River Prawns and Linguine ($28) was saved by the well flavored aglio olio pasta that was citrusy and savory. The baked prawns didn't gel too well with the cheese and herbs and the meat was also on the dry side.

The Two-way Lamb ($35) and the Beef Short Ribs were meh.

We ordered 3 desserts for sampling and each came with a choice of ice cream. The Green tea brûlée ($12) was obviously not given the TLC that it deserved. The golden caramel top was absent! Instead we had semi melted sugar granules sitting on top a curd that was too dense and gelatinous.

The dessert that takes the cake goes to the Vodka Chocolate Lava Cake ($12). Not that the vodka taste was particularly strong but we liked the light bitterness that was brought out in the molten centre.

Hits and misses at this one but if you just stick to the Mezzanine and end with tea and desserts, you should have a rather enjoyable date.

I bought a Groupon for a Hugh tea buffet at Museo after seeing all the fantastic reviews about the place. Museo has a great scenery overlooking the Yatch area. For the high tea buffet, I was a little disappointed by the spread. However, their beverages menu offered a great range of teas and coffees. This is their ginger milk tea. I loved the way the set the tea set. The ginger milk tea costs about $11.50 if bought on its own. The spice with the milk is simply heavenly! Really delicious!

Since there is only one seating (1.30pm - 5pm) for weekends, we made our reservation way back in Mar to secured seats. Museo is located at Quayside Isle at Sentosa Cove, not a very public transport friendly place but definitely a sanctuary away from the bustling city area. Arriving here immediately puts us in a relaxing and laid back holiday mood.

There are many international restaurants here that offers waterfront dining experience. Museo is located at the 2nd level above the Picotin bistro.

Our table had waterfront view. It is the sofa type seat where diners take off their shoes and relax over a cup of tea/coffee...if you don't need to get up for food that is. We initially find it cumbersome to get in and out to get our food from the buffet stations. But once our tummy are filled, it is really quite relaxing to laze and sip tea while enjoying the view outside...

The buffet spread...not a huge selection of food but food quality is very good. Their signature dish Roast pork belly (sio bak) gets snapped up pretty fast!

My food choices...I ate 3 rounds, all of them contains sio bak. The pork belly is roasted just right, has 2/3 lean meat and 1/3 fat plus super crispy skin....heavenly! Their fresh prawns and Cajun chicken chop are also very good. The appetizer dishes such as the cold pasta, tuna tataki and seafood salad were also very fresh and well prepared...yums.

For desserts, I had the mango mousse cake, green tea mousse cake, chocolate swiss rolls and cream puff. I liked the chocolate swiss roll and mango cake, they were soft and spongy and not overly sweet. The others tasted so so only. For fruits, I had the rock melon, it is super sweet!

The highlight of this restaurant had to be their Arteastiq tea. I had two rounds of hot tea and a cup of hot chocolate. Their hot beverages were very lovely, the hot chocolate was thick and creamy, the French rose tea was fabulously fragrant and the Mint lemongrass tea really wakes up my senses.

Overall we really enjoyed the dining experience here. The service was good, prompt and friendly. Dishes were cleared regularly, ice water was refilled without asking. Food at buffet stations were replenished fast...especially for their popular dishes. The buffet price includes unlimited order of non alcoholic drinks. We find that it is really worth the price we paid.

I want to recommend the Strawberry crumble set , served together one selection of gelato. I assume the strawberry crumble was soaked in red wine, making it flavoured very special !

After museo, we did a short walk around the quayside isle. you definitely can get a rich feel there ;) Are we in Singapore still?
