I decided to order a bowl of fishball noodles from the Noodles stall at The Deck for lunch today. This is not my first time trying dishes from this stall and it is one of the cheapest stalls in the entire arts canteen.I paid $2 for this meal. the stall auntie is always very generous in her helping of mushrooms and fishballs. I paid $2 for this meal. the stall auntie is always very generous in her helping of mushrooms and fishballs. Overall a meal worth it, with springy noodles and well-cooked fishballs.

Although I find the serving too small to be filling, it is worth its $2 price tag. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a low-budget no frills lunch!

The queue for noodles was the shortest so I decided to order fishball noodles from this stall. At two dollars a bowl, the portion given was reasonable. There were quite a lot of ingredients including the usual fishballs, fishcakes and lettuce. However, I was surprised that they served mushrooms in the fishball noodles too, because this is usually for the bak chor mee. The noodles was too soggy as too much soup/ sauce was added, sadly.
