lovelovelove the fish pancakes here. the filling is so generous and the pricing is not too expensive. there are so many flavours to choose from. the custard is pretty good. the kaya and chocolate is good too. i love the traditional red bean flavour. i also love the perfectly formed fish! the pastry is just thick enough so it's not sickening and it's the right texture. love that the detail of the fish is so clear. service is quick and efficient and love that it is always served hot and fresh! no

It has been ages since I had been here and this time around, I went for the more expensive durian pancake. Previously, I have always stuck to the $1.30 range of pancakes and I am glad I tried this, because it was so good! As you can see, there is quite a substantial amount of durian pulp within the pancake, meaning you really get your money's worth. It simply has given me more reason to buy from them now whenever I am in the area!

i was craving for a little snack. I was spoilt for choice at the variety of snack stalls art bugis. I decided to settle for ooki taiyaki, the fish snack. This time I decided to try the red bean flavor. Their red bean is from Japanese, not the normal ones we find at supermarket. The pastry is really delicious, very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The red bean filling is not too sweet, yet they really give a lot until at every bite they ooze out! It is so delicious. a great afternoo

Bought really really good cheese tarts from Ooki Taiyaki! At first it just looked like egg tarts and we had second thoughts about it. But upon trying it out, we thought it was amazingly good! The cheese just burst in your mouth and the tart is good too! Great cheese tarts! Probably one of the best I’ve ever tried before!

Ooki Taiyaki sells one of the tastiest pancakes in my opinion. They have a range of flavours, from the normal ones like red bean, kaya, peanut butter, chocolate, pumpkin, blueberry and custard which are priced at $1.30 to the more unconventional ones like durian, ham & cheese which are priced at $1.80.I have tried most flavours before, and I went for the red bean flavour this time. I have tried most flavours before, and I went for the red bean flavour this time. Back at home, I reheated the pancake such that it is warm and slightly crispy. The red bean filling is quite a lot, unlike some other stalls which scrimp on the ingredients. At only $1.30, it is very value for money.

Ooki Taiyaki serves the best taiyaki in my opinion. I never fail to get one when I happen to pass by its stall. This time, I got the custard flavour. Its skin is crispy yet soft on the inside. Not to mention the gooey custard filling hiding beneath its crispy exterior. Besides the custard flavour, there is also the conventional flavours like kaya, peanut butter and chocolate. Whichever flavour, this makes an absolutely delightful snack!

After reading from some reviews, I decided to try ooki taiyaki when I was out one day. I chose the Azuki flavor since there was an on going promotion where you could get 2 fish pancakes for $2. The taste was simply awesome as the red bean fillings were not too sweet but just right. Also, the skin was perfectly crisped and tossed out of the hot moulds by adept pancake masters. Another yummy snack that I will be enjoying!

This small mini fish pancake, originally from Japan, is simply worth buying. For $2.00, you’d get 5 pieces that comes together with a mini cup of chocolate fudge. Really soft and spongy, the taste of the eggs is strongly present, with sweet and slightly salty in the background. It is great when eaten dipped in the chocolate sauce while the pancake is hot. The best thing about this snack, it is neither too sweet nor oily.
