FoodAfter a long walk around Chinatown for our Chinese New Year shopping, we headed to Maxwell food centre for some drinks as we will all burnt out by the scotching sun. Ordered 5 bowls of refreshing icy Ching Tng (costs $2 each) to cool ourselves while taking a rest at one of the round tables. We do not want anything that is heaty therefore we had given it's signature dish, Peanut Ice Kachang, a miss as we believe that peanut is heaty to our body system.Like any other ching tng, the ingredients

Uncle took about 10 minutes to prepared 5 bowls of ching tng and served us with a smile.
Ambience
Quite crowded during tea break time in a hawker centre. Perhaps its near to CNY.
Price
$2 a bowl is consider pricy. Come to think of that since its refreshing and can actually quench our thirst. It's still worth!
Recommendation / Tips
Try its ching tng
