This shop sells Japanese breads which are light and soft. They are known for their wassant (small crossiant-shaped breads) and milk bread (soft sweet bread with a milky custard inside). I chanced upon this 'Milk Stick' and an curious how it taste like with is looking so pale white as compared to the usual bread that are more browned. This milk stick has a more floury taste and is not as sweet as the usual browned breads. The texture of it is in between chewy and soft. The milk cream in the middle is smooth and sweet which complement the rather tasteless bread. More of the cream will make the bread taste even better.I am glad to try it as it is quite a special bread that is very different from our conventional type. continue reading

Sesame Pizza has always been my choice if i want a quick meal. I can have it on the go or eat it in the office. It is definitely value for money to pay $2.20 for a 6 inch pan size Sesame Pizza. It has got over flowing cheese with sliced tomato. The crust is made of sesame and wheat flour. It tasted the best when eaten hot but it still tasted good even it is cold. If you happen to be at home, you can always throw it into the oven to heat it up a bit for better taste. continue reading

My mother was shopping around vivo with her colleague and she got me my favourite wassant from petit provence. I like their chocolate flavor one. The chocolate flavor is not too rich, the wassant itself has this light fragrance. I really like the texture of the wassant, it is soft but yet when you bite into it, you can taste different layers. The size is just right, bite size good for tea parties as well. continue reading

I was in Vivo city mall. I love basement 2, for the variety of snack outlets. This time, I picked up a chocolate croissant from from Petit Province. It is a small croissant. It was really chocolaty, it was soft, sweet & actually just melted in my mouth. The look of the croissant too was great, it has a stripped & layered look. I wish I could learn how to make such a beautiful & tasty croissant. I enjoyed it. Will try the kaya croissant next time continue reading

My girlfriend bought a few pieces of the wassant from petit provence. She bought five of the kaya flavor. the kaya flavor is indeed delicious. The wassant was so soft and spongy. The kaya flavor is not too strong. When you bite into the wassant, the texture is a little soft, a little chewy. it does not stick to your teeth too. the fragrance of the wassant is really good, makes you wanna eat mouth after mouth. continue reading
