My superior bought us one box of tea-break snacks. Yes, she always did that, thanks to her. The nearest outlet from our office was Junction 8, Bishan. Contained of 6 pieces inside, each of them dressed in adorable blue cup. Two flavours to be chosen, either Vanilla or Chocolate. For any purchase of Hokkaido Cake, you will be entitled to participate in lucky draws which stand a chance to win $1,000 worth Travel Voucher. Promotion is valid until 17th November 2013. Personally I prefer Vanilla, it tasted pure and originally decent. Not overly creamy, the cake was fluffy light with sugar flakes on top. Price wise, Vanilla was $12.00 and Chocolate $13.00 per box. continue reading

Besides chicken pie, my second favourite item from Polar Puffs & Cakes is their Pineapple Tarts - $1.40/pc. While having lunch at Junction 8, I saw it so I bought it. The layer was sweet, with nice butter fragrances. Inside the tart, the pineapple fillings was not too generous but nevertheless it is still nice too. There's also an appetizing almonds taste. The service was just normal. I had been standing there for so long, the counter guy just ignored me, didn't even bother to ask what I want The service needs some improvement. continue reading

This is a new launch products from Polar Puffs and was attracted by the nicely decorated gift box and decided to try it. For six pieces at merely twelve dollars in a beautiful gift box, i feel the price is very reasonable. The cake sponge is very soft and moist and the generous amount of fresh vanilla cream also taste equally delicious and also not too sweet too. Would like to have it another times for my tea break. continue reading

Was craving for a snack while i was shopping with my friend at junction 8, so she introduced me to try out the chicken pie from polar puffs and cakes. This was actually my first visit and first try to polar puffs and cakes, and i got to admit that their chicken pie are really the perfect one. I love the crispiness so much But well, the chicken chunks fillings might be too little for me though, otherwise, it would be the best chicken pie for me. continue reading

We had the tiramisu cake from polar for one of our good friend’s birthday. We chose this small one since there are only 5 of us in total and we did not want to struggle to finish the cake. The tiramisu cake is just average in my opinion as I have had better ones. This is quite sweet and does not really have any much of a coffee taste or alcohol taste. The mascarpone cheese layer is the layer that is quite sweet. Luckily, the sponge layer is not too sweet which is the saving grace of the cake. continue reading
