Q Essential - The New World (Closed)

There is a short queue during off peak hours and waiting time was about 5 minutes. Service was rather aloof. I got a cup of medium sized Q essential bubble milk tea which was recommended on their list. It costed $2.30 and I requested for no pearls, and 50% sugar level. It was quite sweet but taste was good. 50% of sugar level will definitely be the max I would go. If you have a sweet tooth, 50% would be sufficient too.

I saw quite a lot of people buying the Q Essential Bubble Milk Tea ($2.30 for Small, $3.50 for Medium) and so I decided to try it too. New World Cafe provides a beautiful scenic environment, where you can see the sunset when you look out of the window glass panes. There is a bubbletea stall in this food court that replaced the Sakae Sushi in NTU and they have recently added this new dessert on their menu. It cost $4.50 but I think it was a good try. The base is grass jelly topped with different toppings of red bean, pearls and yu yuan (sweet potato and yam flavoured). I think the yu yuan was really Q and nice.
