Was craving for nasi lemak when I pass by this food stall in this foodcourt which have really fragrant coconut rice smell from here and decided to try. Was suprise that the price offer here was really reasonable. At merely $3.80 per plate, there are egg omelette, fried fish, otak, and one big drumlet in it. Really value for money. Like their sambal chilli which is sweet and not too spicy. The chicken drumlet is crispy and not too oily too. Stall lady is friendly and stall is clean. continue reading

My usual favourite dishes are beef randang, curry vegetable and begidil (malay style potato cutlet) and not forgetting their specially made chilli to go with the rice. The beef randang has got a tender and soft texture. The curry vegetable consists of cabbage, turnip and tau kwa. MUST TRY. A good way to curb the spiciness of certain dishes is to order a lime juice to go along. continue reading

Althought this stall is hiding at the far end corner of the food court, you will not be surprise that this stall actually has their regular customers patrolling their stalls daily. And I also one of them. At the price of three dollars and eighty cents per plate, you can enjoy a big portion of fragrant greenish coconut rice with a big piece of deep fried chicken drumstick, curry vegetables, sliced cucumbers and a nicely cooked egg omelette. The sambal chilli sauce used here is really tasty and not too spicy. The whole presentation looks really good and appearing and is one of the better choice in this food court. continue reading

Although there is no fancyful design at this stall, but at one glance over the wide range of dishes for you to choose from if you are eatting their nasi lemak. Set meals are also available here, so I decided to give it a try. The rice are really fragrant and can freel that really lots of pandan leavres are use during the meeting on it. The sliced cucumbers are very crunchy and fresh. Especially like to eat their chilli sauce as it is thick and not too spicy. Would definitely visit again if I pass by Tampines Mall some other days. continue reading

First impression was good and from the looks of the spread, it's enough to make me make the leap to try. The sweet chili is good, especially when it's mixed with the ikan bilis & peanuts.it serves variety of vegetables and other side dishes normally come with nasi lemak. But I think the nasi lemak is like too dry. Maybe choose with some curry next time. continue reading
