I have been to to the Koufu at West Mall many times, but I have never tried the Lemon Chicken Rice there. I like lemon chicken rice, so I decided to get a plate of that. When I saw the food, looking at the colour of the chicken, I knew it wouldn't be that nice. As expected, it didn't turn out good. The chicken was very little, mostly fats, and it was very artificial. Today, I went to West Mall for lunch with my Mum-in-law. It was not yet noon, so the place wasn't packed. I ordered a bowl of Roast Chicken Noodle from this particular stall. It was $3.50 per plate, cheaper as compared to Kopitiam. The noodle was neither Q not soggy. Not too bad. The chicken breast was not dry, pretty tender. The best was the soup. The stall sells rice with roast/white chicken, roast duck, char siew, roast meat or chicken cutlet. A great variety.
