I tried the jumbo sausage pasta which was around $6+. The pasta taste was quite bland and there was not much taste, probably that of hawker centre standard or worse. The jumbo sausage was really jumbo sized though and it was certainly the highlight of the dish. It wasn't that fabulous but if you will like to give it a try, once is enough. I guess it is still better to go for their bubble teas and drinks instead of their food items as these are not what they specialize in (if i am not wrong, this is a bubble tea specialty store). continue reading

Rockery, "Kuai Ke Li" in chinese a direct translation of English into Chinese or vice versa. We had decided to ordered the lychee plus drink as we saw the advertisement at its counter mentioning that the cup of drink will be ice cool and comes with logan toppings. Ordered the larger version at S$3.50. While we were standing at the counter waiting for the helper to prepare the drink, we saw another advertisement and with that we have Avocado milkshake as our add on.The milkshake was totally not to my liking as the drink was prepared was too much milk. From the taste of the drink you can tell that they uses those full cream milk and tastes very different from fresh milk. On top of that, the drink was not chill enough.Cost: S$3.00While Lychee plus is the opposite, it tastes of lychee syrup and was cold enough with a number of longan fruit given. continue reading

Besides bubble teas and smoothies, Rockery also sells desserts, pastas and sandwiches. I was craving for bananas so I decided to order a banana smoothie. It was a little expensive, at $3.50 with no toppings. It tasted somewhat like banana ice-blended, very sweet. They could have added less sugar syrup. A large banana was used to make the smoothie so I could taste the authentic fruit taste of the banana. It was good to satisfy my cravings but I would not get it again as I don't think it was worth the price. continue reading

I went to get myself a Bubble Tea from Rockery at West Mall, I ordered their medium cup (they have medium and large sizes) of the classic green milk tea with pearls. When they served me my drink, I was kind of surprised that it was not a full cup. Normally when I buy bubble tea, they will fill it to the brim. They also did not have a sugar level chart, so the drink was a little sweet for me. the tea is very fragrant and when mixed with milk, it was very smooth. The pearls they used were smaller than those normal pearls, but it was chewy and did not stick to the teeth. continue reading

i love rockery’s drinks, especially those with pudding toppings. Every time I order a pudding drink, the person manning the cashier will ask if I wanted egg pudding or mango pudding. I am a huge fan of the egg pudding, I find their egg pudding very light and smooth. The pudding itself is a little sweet but not too sweet. This time I ordered their chocolate milk tea with egg pudding. The chocolate has this bitter sweet taste, goes well with the slightly sweeter egg pudding. It was a refreshing drink, it was not overly sweet. Really good for hot weathers. continue reading
