Rojak - S11 Food House (Closed)

Going to Yishun is quite far for me.... honestly.. but when you meet some friends sometimes... its quite ok.. so this was what i did... I wanted something light and i didnt want to eat like a bird...So looking all around me it was either rice or noodles... and of course a big no no for western food.. I ordered the Rojak for takeaway at $3. The person making the rojak is quite skilled, finishing my order very quickly. Although it is a takeaway, luckily the rojak did not turn too soggy by the time I got home which is great. The prawn paste is quite nice, not too salty or sweet. I love the serving of peanuts on top of the ingredients as it added some crunch and nutty taste to the rojak. The rest of the ingredients are fresh as well, the pineapples tasted very sweet too. I ordered the Rojak for $3, it tasted great with the dressing and you tiao and the vegetables in the Rojak combination. It is a cheap and yet filling meal. It’s found in mainly coffee shops and hawker centres. The aunty who served me was friendly and polite, a nice way to treat customers despite being busy with orders. I enjoyed the plate of food overall and will come back for more.
