Sangokushi Ryoriya (Closed)

Sangokushi Ryoriya serves up fusion dishes of Japanese and Taiwanese styles, but the food here seemed more Taiwanese than Japanese. The food is not exactly cheap when the bill came up to around $100 for 2 persons when we ordered a small bottle of sake. The pork belly with leek was clearly Taiwanese inspired. The pork belly was not too bad but not exceptional. We also had claypot chicken and that fared better.

If you are a fan of seafood fried rice, try Sangokushi Ryoriya. The rice used here is the Japanese type, not too sticky and yet flavourful. The fried rice is also not too oily unlike many other places that add too much soy sauce and oil that makes the fried rice taste utterly disgusting. The portions were also generous, with a plate of seafood fried rice feeding two persons comfortably.

I ordered a dish that was described as spicy chicken with century egg,but i just tasted normal I would strongly recommend sharing their noodle dishes, because their portions are massiveThe stir fried beef with eggplant had rather overcooked and tough beef, but absolutely delicious eggplant. And the mixed vegetable and mushroom noodle soup that I had was chockfull of vegetables, very light yet tasty
