Signature Dishes
I was coming to here to take my lunch, North Link House was full of people during lunch hours. The stall was spacious and organized, all the staffs were helping each other. Placed orders with a staff standing in front will do, they served to you once it was ready.I have always called it as Fried Dark Hokkien Noodle, this round I requested to accompany some meehoon. Appearance looked simple, nicely tasted with a good control of fire. Seafood, pork, fish cakes were added, portion was rather sufficient. Gravy was richly savoury, overall was mushy for my liking. Price at $4.50, the menu was not too expensive.

This stall has many different types of dishes like san lau hor fun, salted fish fried rice, sheng mian, etc etc. I was deciding between the san lau hor fun and normal seafood hor fun, and opted for the normal seafood hor fun instead which is cheaper. The seafood hor fun is fried and then paired with the thick gooey brownish gravy. The hor fun here is quite delicious. It does not stick together in clumps, but instead, it is distinct and it is very easy to slurp the whole strand of hor fun down my throast. I also like the slices of meat, fishcake, prawns and vegetables. The prawns are the crunchy type which is how I love the prawns to be. It is a dish I will order again.

Hor fun is usually one of my favourite zhi cha dish and I truly like the version which this stall presented to me. The gravy is more towards the darker version but it is not too salty and is full of the seafood flavour. The hor fun kway teow, which also known as the rice noodles,is very chewy and smooth. Don't really know why I like their preserved green cut chilli so much as compared to the one they have with the other restaurants out there, here have a much crunchy and sweeter version,and not too sour as well which suit my taste very well.

The food at Seafood - North Link Food House tasted quite good. I ordered the sweet and sour pork chop which costs $8 per serving. The pork cutlet was well fried without being too oily. The meat was tender and soft too. I enjoyed the meal and will patronize the shop again.
