Starbucks have a wide range of beverage, from coffees to tea and to juices. Some of my favorites at Starbucks is its Ice Shaken Lemon Tea, Signature Hot Chocolate and its Spearmint Green Tea.

As for its cakes, I always order its Raspberry Cheesecake. Apart from that, actually there's nothing much fanciful about its cake at Starbucks. Just as I passed by Woodlands Starbucks, I saw its newly introduced Yuzu Cake, which looks quite appetizing and the price is rather affordable, thus I decided to try it out.

The Yuzu Cake is quite refreshing and it has a hint of yuzu and lemon taste. Its Chiffon Cake is also not too hard, neither too soft. Its worth a try.

While I've been visiting Woodlands Civic Centre's outlet for the past few years, the new Starbucks at Woodlands Xchange gave me an alternative, especially since Civic Centre's outlet is always full. While I'm a fan of Starbucks' seasonal beverages (such as the Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino above) and permanent beverages (such as the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino), I also love their food options and the portions are just right for breakfast or tea break without compromising stomach space for lunch or dinner. While the prices are a little high, Starbucks is after all a well-known brand and the quality makes up for it. Here are some of the food items I've tried.

This chocolate danish is probably one of the cheapest food items in the store on display. It is very rich in chocolate and cream and not too dry, so it was pretty delightful.

The Potato, Cheese and Truffle Soup is one of the new offerings from Starbucks. They actually come in packets, but the staff will prepare the soup for you and deliver it to your table. The soup portion was actually very little (about half a cup), but it was thick and flavourful. They are also generous with the potato slices (I had 3-4 of them and they were large in size). The soup portion may be too small for the price though, especially since the potatoes take up a very large space.

I actually got the Herb Mac and Cheese from Civic Centre's outlet, but they're probably the same in every outlet. The staff will helpfully offer to heat up hot food stuff for you. The Mac and Cheese was really good, not too cheesy and the herbs gave it a saltier flavour. The edges were burnt though during the heating up, but that is forgivable.

Although the whole puff looks kind of big and round, but as soon as I had my first bite, the whole puff flattened a lot.
The sprinkles on top are quite salty on the first few bite, but better around the middle where the fillings come in.
The crust is like those Malay triangular shape curry puff styles, layered and flaky, but a bit too thin for my liking.
The fillings are disappointing, nothing different from those curry puff fillings sold elsewhere. The potatoes taste normal and the chicken chunks are rough and bland, it may even be worse than some curry puff fillings sold elsewhere.
For its price ($4.80), I was expecting something unique and tasty, but it came out that it is just a bigger version of a normal curry puff.
