As there is a Swee Heng bakery near the market where I frequent, I will usually buy some cakes or breads from there for my children’s breakfast next day. I was looking around at its selection of cakes and I decided on this oreo chiffon cake. I chose this flavour as it is more rarely seen in neighbourhood bakeries. My children loved it. I myself loved the cake as well. It is light and spongy and the oreo taste is subtle but yet leaves me wanting for more bites of the cake to get more of the flavo

At only $2.50, this is really a very worth it and yummy cake.

It is quite a surprise finding Swee Heng selling ang ku kuehs in addition to selling breads and cakes. I got the green bean tau sa ang ku kueh which costs 60 cents. The filling is quite nice, slightly moist and sweet and it is very smooth. The ang ku kueh skin is also not too thick which allows me to savour more of the green bean filling. They have other flavours like peanut, yam, red bean and salty green bean filling, but I was told most of the time they will usually get peanut, green bean and

I got one of these swiss rolls to work during the weekend since I am working overtime. As it was quite early in the morning, the shop has just opened and I am their only customer. The Swiss roll I got is more spongy than I expected but still tasty. Good choice for those who likes lighter cakes.

This outlet is quite quiet in the morning. Probably due to the location thats not so centralized. Theres more of people working around the area that buy bread during peak hours. Quite a lot of uncles and aunties as well. Their custard bread is nice and soft. Good thing the filling tastes not too sweet and the bread is fresh as always. Nice.
