I was there for an early lunch. The attractive signboard of this stall managed to catch my attention when i walked past. I decided to give their wanton noodle a go. The portion was quite substantial for $2.50. The noodle has got the likable springiness. It tasted alright when tossed it well with the dark sauce and after nicely mixed in the chilli sauce. It served along with a few slices of average tasting char siew, vegetable and 3 pieces of rather old school tasting wantons in the soup. It tast

This might not be the best wanton noodle that i ever tasted but it is not disappointing as well.

Simple food.

Simple taste.

I tried the chicken feet mushroom noodle at this stall and oh my goodness, it is delicious! The chicken feet is braised to become extremely tasty and the texture is wonderful especially for those who love the slightly slimy collagen within the chicken feet. Taste wise, this is a richly-flavoured chicken feet that you must try if you're quite into chicken feet. The mushroom is normal, nothing much to rave about. The noodles, though, was spectacular. It was springy and offered a good chewy texture

A side note though, I am quite sensitive to MSG and I'm therefore very sure that this stall used A LOT of it cos I became sooooo thirsty after the meal. It's the only thing I ate, in case you're wondering. But well I guess I could take this once in a rare while! The lady at the counter is very friendly, all smiles

I was feeling tired so I decided to takeaway this stall's wanton mee. The noodle taste "uncooked" to me as there is still flour smell in it. The char siew meat they gave is very thinly sliced and it was like eating meat with no flavouring. The wantoon is still acceptable to me as the skin is quite smooth and the meat filling in it taste not too bad. But I will still insist on myself not to revisit this stall again...
