Sweet Talk (Closed)

With the coming up of more bubble tea shops, Sweet Talk seem to be less popular now. However, the plus point about Sweet Talk, I personally feel, is that it is easily accessible and can be found in almost every other malls in the heartland, compared to other bubble tea shops which can only mainly be found in town. I still frequent Sweet Talk, their bubble tea is really not bad!

As usual I ordered Grape Milk Tea with pearl. The taste of the grape was pretty good as it was not too sweet. It cold and very refreshing especially on a hot day. I don't like the milk tea which fully covered by the milk but Sweet Talk is special, I still can taste the flavor from the grape. On the other hand, the pearl is not as good as KOI. Overall, quite good.

Sweet Talk s practically everywhere you go, making it convenient for sweet talk lovers. I personally find sweet talk ok, but its definitely a good choice when you're under the hot sun for a loong time and are looking for a thirst quenching drink

The pineapple milk tea which I bought fall short of my expectation. Really can't find the taste of pineapple at all. I can only taste the thick milk tea with slightly sourish taste on my taste bud. The amount of pearls given was of acceptable amount. Not likely to try this pineapple milk tea again. It's not worth trying and I feel cheated (

This was the first time to try the red tea and never have any regrets. Firstly, the red tea was considered thick in tea taste and not those dilute ones. Secondly, they gave generous amount of pearls and the pearls taste really soft compared to other days. Maybe they cooked the pearls a bit longer, thus giving them this soft texture. It taste nicer and I like it if they cook it that way. It was quite refreshing and can't give it a miss )

This Sweet Talk shop has sell other stuff like their " Pop Biah" and it was nice.. Uncle gave generous amount of the fillings and peanuts, beansprouts and some crispy crackers. Over all, it taste nicer with a little chilli paste or more chill if you are a chilli lover. At $1.30 for the pop biah, it's very well worth it.

Sweet talk strawberry milk bubble tea still one of my favourite beverages. The milk tea comes with a generous amount of strawberry and pearls by uncle, the stall owner. It's abit sweet but I have a sweet tooth and I really enjoyed sipping the pearl and strawberry milk into my mouth. Once it goes down into my throat, I feel refreshing and cooling as well. Not to forget the pearls which I enjoyed chewing from my bubble tea )

Popiah at Sweet Talk? Yes it is true. Maybe because it is located in a housing block. The Sweet Talk near my home sells popiah too on most days. It will commence business from afternoon to night time. One popiah costs $1.30 which is the same price as the bubble tea they are selling. The popiah was quite good alhough at times the auntie did not squeeze out most of the juice from the fillings, so the popiah skin gets a bit wet. Do not be surpised that the soya bean drinks and bean curb were purchased from Sweet Talk. Maybe because this is an outlet in the neighbourhood, it does sell soya bean items. I frequently got my dose of soya bean drink and soya bean curb from them. The soya bean drink does not have much soya bean taste, a bit bland though. But the bean curb is nice as it is very soft and not too sweet. If you cannot finish it, remember to keep it in the fridge as it does go bad easily in our hot humid weather.

The weather was so hot that I bought myself a cup of bubble tea from sweet talks. This outlet is very popular with students as there are many schools near it. I like the bubble tea from sweet talks, especially the green tea and red tea as they are not as weet as some other brands. I normally will request for the drinks to be without ice and the owner of the stall is very accommodating although they seldom smile. The pearls are chewly and not those hard or uncooked type.
