We normally love to eat Egg Yolk Prawns but it is actually not in the original menu. So we requested for special order, this is the first time I ate such a horrible Egg Yolk Prawns dish, it was totally dry, without any sauces. From the picture that I took, you can see that the egg yolk comes in small pieces, they totally never try to melt it. I tried eating it, it had a bad smell, so it was not fresh and also super oily. What's more, the prawns were so small too.

As we ordered mostly fried stuff, so was a bit dry in the mouth, so we ordered the Teppanyaki Tofu. There was sauce but there was not enough sauce. When the dish was served to us,the sauce was boiling but after cooled down, it was so dry. The tofu was okay, quite smooth.

Among all, my favourite was their Butter Sotong, though I can't taste any butter but their sotong was quite soft and QQ. The crust was bit sweet and crispy, but once again, it was really oily. The food is cheap, total only costs $40 but not much choices to choose from, food-wise so so only.

It is close to the now-unused Serangoon Bus Interchange and functions 24 hours.
This seafood joint opens around 5pm and operates till 2-3am.

We ordered a few dishes - Fried Rice with chicken, Diced Chicken with dry chilli, Foo Yong Egg Omelette - with mushroom and Baby Kai Lan - with garlic.
We ordered small portions, but, when the food arrived, it was more like the food was for 3-4 people! Anyway, we slowly worked our way through the dishes, not wanting to waste any food!

The Fried Rice with chicken was good, except that it was a little bland.
There were many chunks of chicken, but, perhaps, the chicken could have been better marinated. The chicken pieces were not well seasoned /marinated.

The Diced Chicken with dry chilli was excellent! Mmmm!
Here the chicken had been well seasoned and, of course,
the flavour was definitely enhanced by the dry chilli and chives in the dish.
The Foo Yong Egg Omelette was a special request - we did not want seafood, so the chef offered to do a mushroom-vegetable version! That was really good and it went very well with the other dishes. The Baby Kai Lan, as always, was fresh and crisp. It was rich in nutrients and healthy.

This was our first try at this restaurant and it won't be the last.
However, the Coffee Shop this restaurant is in tends to get really busy, crowded and noisy as the night grows. I prefer a quieter dining atmosphere, so, perhaps, next time, take away is a better option. The prices are very reasonable, given the huge portions of food. Of course, cleanliness could be better, as in the case of most similar joints.
Verdict - it could be better, but, yes, I will be back!
