Signature Dishes
It was hardly to find an authentic Thai Tom Yam Soup at Singapore. In fact, the flavour sold at Thai Food Restaurant here was basically matched with the local appetite. Haunting for quite some times, it was probably the best so far. Service was prompt and quick, the staff was helpful.Putting in a sliver hot pot, the soup was well-kept in warm. It was just the right balance of sour, spicy and spices. There was no additional coconut milk mixed in, the fresh sweetness of the soup came from the seafood. I had it along with a bowl of rice, very appetizing. I was sure they cooked according to their own recipe but not instant Tom Yam Paste or Seasoning. The broth tasted naturally savory and unique. The portion was definitely enough unless you are a huge eater, the soup given was considered generous. My dinner costed me $6.50, it was slightly expensive. Maybe because of the ingredients, seafood was generally more expensive than chicken or pork. For me, it was still acceptable.
