Service
Service is quite slow with long waiting time.

Ambience
As it was a weekend, Thai Express are quite pack and this results that we are not eating in comfort zone. we have the chairs of next tables rubbing against our chairs and given a limited space (as we were sitting by the corner) we have issues moving ourselves out.

Price
Pricing is standard.

Dinner with friends before concert. If you're craving for a spicy dish, be sure to order Rice with Yellow Ginger Chicken when you're here! But be warned cos it's super spicy! We also order some dishes for sharing. For more pictures of other food items we ordered, http://milkfrost.blogspot.sg/2013/01/thai-express.html*They do not take reservations, so be sure to be there early for dinner

They serve you water without asking, which is great. The service is great. Friendly staff. Efficient. It's a new store so no one's jaded yet.

They serve everything together at the same time, including the dessert. However, the spring rolls only came after I finished the sweet chilli sauce on the chicken rice!

The spring rolls were SOGGY and limp. They were really small too. Not recommended. I've never had soggy limp spring rolls until now. The rolls were so small, the fillings were almost non existent and non-descript.

The yam with chendol in coconut milk is nothing like in the menu picture. There's only a few threads of chendol. So few that it might as well just be green food colouring in the bowl. The yam pieces were so small and mushy. The coconut milk was so rich you could gag finishing it. It's flavourful enough because of the fragrant coconut.

The thai basil fried rice with chicken was very fragrant and smelt mouth-watering. But by the middle of it, you'll feel sick from the dish being so greasy. You fill up on this not because it's full of goodness but because it's full of oil! There's not much chicken in there and what's in there is stringy and grisly. There is also no hint of thai basil. There is no leaf, no smell, no taste of thai basil. Where's the thai basil? I dugged and looked and couldn't find any shred of thai basil.

Overall, the price is a couple of dollars more than the hawker centre, but I've had better Thai food at the hawker centre! I can't recommend the food since it's really not that up to scratch. But for the low price, I guess it's acceptable standard.
