Was in the other restaurants in the area people watching then after eating dinner. It's 9pm sharp just in time for cafe cartel 50% all desserts and snacks. I wanted to try something different instead of my usual (the fantastic brownie). So i ordered their bread pudding.Flavorful, moist custard bread pudding with sweet peaches and raisins, luscious vanilla ice cream on side drizzled with caramel sauce *yum*Staff was very friendly and service was good. continue reading

This western restaurant may not have a very popular venue for dining, but I can tell you the standard of the foods served here are really good! Especially like to eat their deep fried chicken cutlets as the chicken meat is very tender and juicy, which also include the crispy chicken skin that is very fragrant and not too salty as well. The mashed potato is also very moist and soft in texture, and really love those thick creamy pepper gravy which make it really tasty! continue reading

decided on the springvale outlet for a friends gathering after the town's outlets proved to be too crowded. service at the east coast outlet was significantly better than the outlet in plaza singapura; they cleared our dishes promptly and provided us with side plates, seeing that we were sharing dishes. the free flow of bread was served warm, although there were lots of people wanting to grab it though. :x continue reading

We happened to pass by this place and decided to go in for some desserts. They were prompt to serve us ice water and bread. The dessert menu was not very impressing, and the brownie looks the best among them. Undoubtedly, we ordered the brownie. When arrived, the brownie looks just as good. The ice cream was smooth, not too sweet, and was a nice complement to the brownie. There was chocolate fudge on one brownie too. The brownie is the cakey type (not the ones with a moist and dense center). Although I prefer the moist ones, I got to admit that this is not bad too. There are quite a lot of walnuts in the brownie, and some peanuts sprinkled on top. I did not really like the peanuts, but ate it all the same. continue reading

Service is very prompt and friendly. I love the free flow of bread which you can help yourselves at one corner. It is fresh and tasty. As for the food , their spaghetti is really nice. Try the seafood chilli based one as it was really yummy and spicy! Pasta was cooked al Dante . Dessert was really nice ! I tried the waffle with vanilla ice-cream . Waffle was done just perfect! Buttery and thick with crunchy bites at the corners which I love! Really valued for money! continue reading
