Pass by this Icing Room outlet and saw these colourful cookies on the display shelvings. It is so colourful and cute that it really attractive my attention, and for the price of $3.50 per packet, I think is quite worth it and looks really lovely. After tried it, was really surprise and amaze by the different fillings inside these butter cookies. There are peanuts filling, red bean filling, lotus filling which all equally smooth and not too sweet. The service here is friendly and the bakery shop looks really nice and sweet. Chocolate puffs!It's my first time buying from The Icing Room!I've always been attracted by its cute layout and yummy looking amount of goodies but have yet to try till now!They have this promotion, buy 1 for $1.50 and buy 2 for $2.50!I learnt this from the helpful staff who kindly inform me this when i just wanted to buy 1 and try Being the typical Singaporean of course i got two! It was my birthday the other day and my girlfriend did this cake for me. She went to icing room and got the six inch black forest cake. Then with the icing they provided, she designed the cake for me. One thing about icing room cakes is that it is very delicious. the cake is very soft and moist. They add a whole lot of blackcurrent in the centre until every bite you take, you can chew a blackcurrent. The blackcurrent is on the sour side, a stark contrast to the sweet icing and cake. I love this contrast in flavours cos the cake would not be too sweet like that. I believe the red colour icing is strawberry flavour cos it too is a little sour. It was my birthday and my boyfriend told me to pick out a cake to celebrate! Since there was only two of us, i choose to get a single slice instead. While passing by the icing room outlet at nex, the pretty cakes on display caught my eye and i pick out this one!However... although i looked very visually pleasing, it was not appetizing at all!
