I am no exception. We dropped by Wang Cafe for coffee and toast.
We ordered Kopi C and Butter Sugar toast. It is always a delight to sip coffee from the
coffee cup that looks like something from our grandparents' time.
The coffee was superb, as usual.
The toast was just right, not too crunchy and the butter pieces just melt in your mouth.
It is always not easy to get the butter at the right consistency - not too hard and not too soft! The combination of butter and sugar just melts in my mouth and makes me come back for more. Both the toast and coffee were great.
The only problem was the lack of staff, which translated into all the tables being left uncleaned. There were plates, bowls, cups and cutlery lying around.
Overall, this made the dining experience less than perfect, unfortunately.

Serangoon Garden now has a new addition - My Village - and Wang Cafe is one of the cosy cafes found here.We tried the Mee Siam and Laksa. Both were appetisng - the gravies of both were rich and had lingering tastes; and they had a variety of ingredients in them. However, the portions were small. We had Home made lime juice - this was refreshing!A simple cafe, but loaded with lots of local favourites! Will definitely go back for breakfast and coffee soon...

We tried the Mee Siam and Laksa.

a variety of ingredients in them.
However, the portions were small.
We had Home made lime juice - this was refreshing!
A simple cafe, but loaded with lots of local favourites!
Will definitely go back for breakfast and coffee soon...
