If you're at Whampoa, don't miss out on this delicious chicken rice! The rice is smooth and fragrant and absolutely delicious to eat even on its own. But don't miss out their chicken! The meat is tender, not too dry, and very flavourful (the skin has all the taste)! Plus, the fried thai style tofu is bagus (good)! Crispy on the outside, then covered with that sweet and sour thai sauce makes it super yummy!

Saw this chicken rice stall with quite a few media coverage and decided to give it a try. There’s only one aunty (I think she’s the boss) at the stall with no helper so everything have to be self-service. Ordered a roast chicken rice set for 2 pax and an additional order of the thai-styled fried tofu. Was surprised at the chunks of chicken breast meat given because the lady boss is so generous with the serving! Instead of chopping and slicing the chicken into thinly slice, she do it another way

Ordered a roast chicken rice set for 2 pax and an additional order of the thai-styled fried tofu. Was surprised at the chunks of chicken breast meat given because the lady boss is so generous with the serving! Instead of chopping and slicing the chicken into thinly slice, she do it another way round by chopping them into larger pieces. The chicken is juicy, despite it is the chicken breast part. The rice is not oily but very fragrance and each grain is well separated. The tofu is another star for the stall because it is fried at the spot after you have ordered it and it taste very good – crispy on the outside yet smooth on the inside. Total cost is around $12 (If I remembered correctly), which is cheap to me for the quality of food I had.
