Downtown East is neighbour to Wild Wild Wet theme park and other fun activities, with chalet. The crowd comes in from the sporty activities at Wild Wild Wet or the chalet if not weekend families on Sundays. The staff was friendly and speedy in delivering the order. We decided to order Char Kuay Teow, it has a great wok hei taste, and was well cooked in balance between the meat / kway teow / and the taugeh. With a nice sprinkle of chopped lettuce for presentation at affordable cost! This goes into my good Char Kuay Teow list. continue reading

Roamed around downtown east and finally found the hao kou wei foodcourt which is besides emicake.Bought the ginger and onion slice with chicken and it come with a sunny side and a small bowl of soup. The chicken taste very fragrant and it seem that the chef added chinese wine to it.The sauce taste similar to sesame chicken but it had more oyster sauce in it.As for the soup it is actually seaweed with eggwhite. The meal cost $5 but there will be discount for ntuc member card. continue reading

Nowadays I hardly patronize Tze Char stall. This evening, I decide to have Tze char cuisines and it provides more than twenty Tze char dishes. Every dish is look very delicious to me. At last I order Ee-Mian with Seafood. It contains of prawns, fish cake, crabmeat, vegetables and eggs. The noodles, Ee Mian are a bit hard and crispy dry, but it is perfect matching with the gravy soup and the noodles become soft and chewy. I like this seafood noodles which is savory. The price is $4.50 per bowl. continue reading
