Clementi seems to be a bakery hub, there was another new bakery opened within walking distance from Baker's Talent stall.This Hong Kong bakery stall was specialised in Hong Kong style bread. The prices of buns also cost more than Baker's Talent, maybe their ingredients were imported from Hong Kong.I had bought the mushroom and vegetable bun. This bun cost $1.30. The bun was big but the filling was not generous.The texture of the bun was somewhat stiff, not as fluffy as Baker's Talent ones. The taste of filling was surprising good with peppery mushroom, red carrots and jicama, similar to popiah fillings, just a bit drier.Overall, I would still prefer the buns from Baker's Talent which are cheaper and fluffier. continue reading
