After Chomp Chomp, my friends & I headed to Dessert Bowl! A friend recommended us to try out that dessert store & kept insisting that the durian mousse is a must-try! Me being a ultimate durian lover obviously couldn't wait to get a taste of it! Upon entering the place, it had a very nice and cosy homely feeling. We were lucky to get seats at one of the 2 sofa couches available by the window. We ordered 3 bowls of dessert to share among the four of us.
The durian mousse was awesome, and I dare say it's the best I've tried so far. The durian they used is the real stuff, it is authentic, and the mousse itself was just right, not too thin or thick. Woahhh it's like a bomb of heavenly creamy durian in my mouth, couldn't get enough of it. The durian mousse is definitely worth a try, now I understand why it is the best-seller dessert!The mango pomelo sago, another popular dessert on the menu, consists of mango puree with mango chunks, pomelo and sago balls. I find it to be a very refreshing chilled dessert. On the other hand, the rock melon sago paled in comparison to the other 2 desserts, or maybe I'm just not a fan of rock melon.
Overall, with good company, good service and ambience, and the heavenly durian mousse (which I'll be back for more!), the whole dessert experience was enjoyable
