A little wandering on a Sunday afternoon led my family to Suprette at Kam Leng Hotel. What a sweet, sweet find! The decor is very retro but also chic at the same time -a nice cross between an American diner and olden-times Singapore, complete with 80s music soundtrack playing in the background!Service was good, the waiter apologised for the faulty order machine (as a result our orders were delayed in being sent to the kitchen), and he also asked us about our meal after we'd finished -very friend
We ordered a Baby Spinach salad with Poached Egg & Brioche ($12), a Chicken Pot Pie ($14 -do allow approx 15min for preparation) and a Suprette Burger ($19).
All in all, I definitely would say this diner has a great, quaint ambience be it for coffee or brunch. The food is at reasonable prices and the taste is really super too! Definitely will wanna bring friends here next time.
