When my friend asked me to suggest a place for dinner which is neither too expansive nor have to wait for too long, Kim Gary is the first restaurant that comes to my mind without fail. Styled like a Hong Kong teahouse, this restaurant has a simple yet cheerful decor. All the tables are placed fairly close together, if you are lucky enough, you might get a nice seat by the window. There's a huge variety of value for money dishes ranging from noodles, baked rice, hot plates, mushroom rice, toast,
As usual, I always ordered their borsch soup and shredded pork and fried egg with Chinese Mushroom rice. This two dishes are concluded by me their most delicious dishes. The hot borsch soup brings warmth to me immediately and since it's Hong Kong style, tomato were used instead of beetroot. There's no meat inside instead it's full of other vegetables ingredients. Very nice. Their shredded pork and fried egg with Chinese Mushroom rice is simply tasty. They also added sweet corns at the top to further enhance the flavour of the dish. Shredded pork meat is chewy and juicy with the juicy sweet corn. It's really an enjoyable meal.
My conclusion for Kim Gary is that it's a nice casual hangout place with friends, since the extensive menu can cater to everyone's taste bud and the price is reasonable too.
