Astons has been quite popular in Singapore and they are well known for their food. Despite being so popular this was my first time visiting it. It wasn't a disappointment at all, all those hearsay are not hearsay but real facts. The menu had a array of different types of meat ranging from chicken to beef and including spaghetti. The menu had a array of different types of meat ranging from chicken to beef and including spaghetti. Spaghetti comes with soup while meat meal comes with 2 sides which can be chosen from the menu. The side dishes aren't just some boring french fries and coleslaw. They have a variety of side dishes such as garden salad, baked potato, pasta salad etc etc. I was spoilt for choice when I had to choose the side dishes. I decided to settle for onion rings and potato salad with grilled fish with herb as my main.
The grilled fish was cooked to perfection. It was crispy at the side of the fish and the fish was fresh and succulent. Together with the herb sauce it was the best combination ever! The best thing was that the sauce wasn't very salty as oppose to the very salty sauces I had tried before. The price was quite affordable as well $8.50 for a satisfying and yummy meal.
Astons really lived up to its name, I will definitely visit Astons again after my first mouth watering experience with Astons
