We were in the area running some errands at simlim and decided to check out Alps Café. This place has a nice relaxed and chill bar ambient. We ordered Fish and Chips, Chicken Chop and Clam Chowder. Orders came up shortly, so the service was pretty fast. Slurping on creamy and thick clam chowder soup was a great entrée together with the battered fish which was crispy on the outside soft on the inside. It even crunches when I start cutting a piece with knife , causing me to suddenly jerk once I’m past the crunch barrier because the meat inside was so tender.
The chicken was very flavourful and juicy as the fries underneath soaks up the sauce , saving me the trouble of dipping. Don’t take too long otherwise it’ll start to turn soggy due to the vapor.
