it has been a long time since i've had home cooked food and this restaurant had brought back much memories. tried the assam laksa. taste is average, nothing special but the sour and slightly spicy soup is rather appetizing. it would be better if more toppings were added. the few slices of fishes, shredded raddish and generous servings of onion makes the meal rather lacking. as a personal preference, i would prefer to have lesser onion due to the strong taste. their excellent service ought to be

their excellent service ought to be complimented. the waiters and waitresses are efficient and polite. i waited less than 10 min for my food to arrive and is welcomed with a smile.
however, i'm still a little reluctant as to giving it an overall excellent rating as the price and quality of food isnt matched. paying $10.50 for a bowl of noodles that taste normal... my friends also tried the chicken rice and nasi lemak also $10.50 ( inclusive of GST). ratings given are similar. taste is ok but not worth the price.
it is a good place for gathering/ chilling out. will return for such activities but for a normal meal.. i guess cheaper alternatives are available.
