Before catching a late night movie, my friend and I headed to Swensen's for dinner. It was a Friday night and surprisingly, we got a table in just a few minutes. Though when we entered the premises, it was packed! I ordered their Mushroom Baked Rice. Waiter said that it would be served in 15 minutes so I timed it. And boy, was she right on the dot! I got my order in 15 minutes despite the busy restaurant.
I liked how the top was a bit burnt, it added to the crunchy taste and character to the whole dish. They were also very generous with their mushrooms. It seemed like with every bite that I took, there were a few mushrooms in it. The sauce also drowned the rice in just the right amount for me. DELICIOUS!
