Bdae Cake From Swensens!

It was my little sister bdae and I decided to surprise her by ordering an ice-cream cake from Swensens, which is to be delivered on the day itself. It was my little sister bdae and I decided to surprise her by ordering an ice-cream cake from Swensens, which is to be delivered on the day itself. When the cake came, it was put into a Styrofoam box with dry ice inside. I was afraid it would melt so I pestered my dad to bring out the cake, but as we had not eaten our dinner, my dad refused and said that it would not melt at all. Luckily, it turned out that he was right, when he took out the cake 4hrs later (there was a note on the box stating that the cake shld not be left for more than 3hrs as it would melt), the cake was still frozen solid. It was really difficult cutting the cake, even after using the knife my mum alwys used in the kitchen. In the end, we could only get spoons to dig the cake to eat as it was just too hard to cut.

The cake was really nice, with ice cream in between thin layers of sponge cake. There were 3 flavours of ice cream in it in total; vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. The nicest flavour was chocolate (of cos, since it was my favourite). The cake was soft, and eating the whole thing makes ur teeth shiver.

One tip: Eat all 3 flavours tgt with the cake, its the perfect combination, delicious!


Overall, a really nice to eat cake. Will purchase again next time.
