I was told that the queue for the beancurd would be extremely long, but it was alright when i went. However, the almond one was sold out for the day, thus i was unable to try it. I have to admit, lao pan beancurd is one of the nicest dessert that i have had within the past year. I have to admit, lao pan beancurd is one of the nicest dessert that i have had within the past year. The smoothness of the beancurd, it melts in your mouth, and it is not as sweet as i feared it would be. It reminds me a lot of pudding, but rich in soya taste.
However, the bad part about this is that after having one, i did not particularly feel as though i have had beancurd at all. It is a satisfying dessert, but not a satisfying beancurd. Those who love the taste and texture of beancurd would understand. Though it is always nice to have smooth beancurd, having this just isn't the same.
