After having our tea break at one of the cafes around Duxton area, my friend & I decided to have dinner at Maxwell Food Centre since we were nearby! Maxwell Food Centre is pretty popular as you can find a few famous food stalls there and one of them is Jin Hua Fish Head Bee Hoon. There was already a long queue when we arrive and it did not went away even after we left the place. We queued for around 15 minutes and while queuing, our order was taken at the same time. Maxwell Food Centre is pretty popular as you can find a few famous food stalls there and one of them is Jin Hua Fish Head Bee Hoon. There was already a long queue when we arrive and it did not went away even after we left the place. We queued for around 15 minutes and while queuing, our order was taken at the same time. Efficient! This bowl of fish bee hoon is the best I have ever tasted and it was totally worth queuing for. The fish was thick and soft and they gave a reasonable number of fish slices. The milky broth tasted just right. My friend & I literally finish up the whole bowl! However, the food centre is not properly ventilated and it was really hot, the both of us sweated like crazy! Even so, it will not stop me from coming back for more!
