Happened to chance upon an online deal which offers prata, naan, thosai and chapati buffet at Big Bites just for $4.90 per pax. The restaurant can be easily located, just 5 mins from Little India MRT, right opposite Tekka Market. It is situated at a corner of a shophouse, occupying both levels. Quite surprisingly, it wasn't crowded when we went there on a Saturday at 11.30a.m. There were still plenty of seats available.

The staff later advised us that we should have made a booking and we should have came after 12.30p.m as the naan and chapati were only served then. This of which the deal did not state.

Therefore we decided to order a mushroom and a chocolate prata followed up a mushroom thosai. The prata was quite plain as this restaurant is a vegetarian restaurant and therefore there isn't the nice smelling taste that you get when you eat other prata. The chocolate prata which was served had only a small amount of chocolate drizzled onto the prata. This occurred to the onion prata which we ordered after that also. The onion was merely sprinkled on top of the prata but not fried together with it.

The thosai on the other hand was quite spectacular. It's one of the largest and longest thosai I have ever seen!

However, I suppose I'm not really accustomed to eating the various types of curry as I find them a tad to sour for my liking. As stated earlier, this restaurant is pure vegetarian and hence there aren't any meat-flavoured curries available.
The curries used were chickpeas and onion (if I'm not mistaken). It's really healthy!

Overall, the food satisfaction wasn't really good, but I enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor of the shop house all relaxed, watching the bustling street of Little India.
