As per what my title mention, boiling hot is the term to describe the curry fish head when its served. Claypot style is the stall's cooking method, with the curry gravy still bubbling and boiling when its served to the table. This cause the aroma of the curry to quickly impress the diner with its aroma and smell. Fish Head is used and i think its good grade ang ko li fishhead. You will not find pathetic fish meat like some other places, instead, you will be pleased with the meat servings provided. My only gripe is the dish only comes with lady finger and pineapple. I'm missing my usual tau pok, tau kee and also tomato. The curry gravy is a little to the sour side, heavily enhanced with the pineapple that its cooked with. Also its more to the spicier side for the chilli/hot scale, so be prepared to sweat a liitle
Other than this fishhead shared by 4 pax and costing $25, we also ordered some of their popular side dishes (they happen to be a economical rice stall as well) like amaranth (苋菜 $3) and otah ($6). i must say our 2 side dishes are wise choices and it went well with the overall curry based meal. Also they do not serve the red cut chilli by default but chilli sauce and soy sauce separately. But we did not touch the condiments much as the curry gravy is flavorful enough. Coffeeshop setting with reasonable pricing i would say. Service was damn fast and food was served merely minutes after ordering. Carpark is available just behind the coffeeshop itself but it would even be better if its the gantry type, hate tearing coupons.
