What do you usually have for breakfast? My regular choice for breakfast is simple. I do not like it to be too heavy so i usually go for 4 pieces of chwee kuah for only $1.00. Simple but really nice. My regular choice for breakfast is simple. I do not like it to be too heavy so i usually go for 4 pieces of chwee kuah for only $1.00. Simple but really nice. I usually get it from this particular outlet of their many outlets island wide. I have been one of their regular customers for quite a long while and have become friends with the Auntie taking charge of this stall. I do not have to tell her what i want. She always prepared 4 pieces of chwee kueh with extra preserved radish (chye poh) and extra chilli whenever she spotted me in the queue.
Their chwee kuehs have a nicely soft texture as compared to others that i tried. Their preserved radish have got a nice fragrance with a well-balanced saltiness. The taste is further enhanced by the chilli.
I usually have it with a cup of coffee.
A good choice for breakfast.
